Intel, a leading technology design and development company, has created an entrepreneur support initiative called Intel PyMe Lab to drive entrepreneurship and technological innovation for small and medium-sized startups through access to infrastructure, equipment and mentoring

IJALTI is responsible for coordinating the diffusion processes of decision-making and links with organizations in the local ecosystem

The IoT Lab is a space within the CSW in which professionals, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in the Internet of Things technology, can develop innovative solutions thanks to the available Intel technology kit, which includes sensors and microprocessors, to the Intel software development platform

In addition, IJALTI coordinates a program of IoT courses taught by Intel specialists

TALENT

IT Talent is an IJALTI strategy that tries to address the present situation on shortage of talent that nowadays is lived within the IT sector. This strategy is composed of 5 lines of work, which includes: Attraction of talent; Accelerated skill development; Promotion of Guadalajara as a digital hub; Platform for linking supply and demand; HR Good Practice Pact.

Increase the volume of IT professionals, to cover the demand that the local industry requests

Ensure that the technical skills requirements are offered by the profiles that are in the process of training

Reduce the use of attraction and contracting practices that are not suitable for the ecosystem

On February 13, 2014, the iCluster Initiative was launched at national level, supported by INADEM and led by the Mexican Technology Platform, which aims to develop an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship to facilitate and optimize the linkage of government, academia, industry and its contact within the market

In Jalisco, IJALTI is the entity that coordinates the initiative at the state level

The 2016 Jalisco Electronic Tools Index is a study whose objective is to know the status of the Town Halls of the 20 most representative municipalities of Jalisco *, according to the methodology of the Use of Electronic Tools Index in Local Governments, developed by IMCO.

The aim of this project is that companies in strategic industries adopt business models, quality, innovation, and definition of technologic tools requirements usually used by the IT industry to achieve a link in communication and services

In this way, a better understanding and complementarity will be achieved, facilitating the Jalisco IT industry the opportunity to meet the needs of traditional industries, through specific IT applications and solutions adapted to the requirements of these industries
