Guadalajara, Jalisco, March 01 2017 – Under the framework of the IT Talent initiative, the CEOs of the companies that comprise the IT cluster were invited to announce the Agreement of Best Practices of Human Resources for the Sustainability of the IT Industry.

The event took place at the facilities of  CSW, with the participation of more than 30 companies. The presentation was carried out by the leaders of the working table from which the project was created: Guillermo Ortega , Director of iTexico, Horacio López, HR Manager of Luxoft and Marc Richter , CEO of NXP.

Some of the ideas that came out of the event, in order to follow-up the project, included the creation of a community on LinkedIn with the members of the initiative, aiming to maintain an open communication channel; to create a calendar of meetings to foster the integration and cohesion of the IT sector; to generate ideal conditions in order to meet the current offer of talent and to define effectiveness’ metrics to measure the progress of this initiative.

The project “Best Practices of Human Resources for the sustainability of the IT Sector” aims to formulate appropriate strategies to ensure the development and permanence of IT Talent, foster its professional growth and, consequently, boost the competitiveness of the IT sector in Jalisco .
